Yo, Tokeh Wartooth here, and I have singed myself and my team up for the highlander season 2, and I was just wondering- do we have to create our own server, or is there some ‘official’ server that we need to join? Just wondering in case I have to alert my friend to let us use his on our match days.

You can either use your own server, your enemies’ server or an ETF2L server if neither of yours or your enemies’ server is available. The ETF2L server is from Multiplay, so you gotta pray that your enemy has a good server…
E: You are from America? Oh. Well I don’t know if ETF2L has any american servers.

Teams in ETF2L usually use their own servers to play. If neither team has one or can borrow one from a friend, you can request to use an ETF2L server on IRC.
We got three servers located in Germany, five in the Netherlands and one in Chicago, IL.
You are going to want to fix the steam id’s of the players on your team before the first match, or else this will cause you problems.
Ugh… I wish I just joined a team right now….
So what kind of problems will that cause?
Using players without valid steam id in official mathes means a minor warning and default loss for your team. Players can get their steam ids from http://www.steamidfinder.com and enter it here http://etf2l.org/wp/wp-admin/profile.php
