Hello,
Not sure this is the right part of the forum to post it but here I go.
I’m RedruM from a cod4 clan |EASY|. We are a active clan and have lots of fun playing the game.
On the side I played Tf2 for fun, but quick I found out to win a game in publics you really need to have team work. Uber on the right time, get a spy to sap quick follow him and kill the sentry and many more.
I talked about that on vent with some clan members and they had the game to. So we hopped on a server and had lots of fun. And wat I like the most there was some great teamwork.
So we played for a few days and decided to create a tf2 clan. http://tf2.easy506th.co.uk (website isn’t done yet but it works)
But we are now looking for a league to play in. I’ve seen the promo movie on youtube and checked out the website. It looks like fun. But now I got a question. Is there a clan that would like to play agains us and show us how this league is played, because none of us got any experience for a tf2 match. A clan that is willing to give us some time to explaine most of the stuff and play for fun.
If anyone is intressed you can contact me on xfire: coldwar666 or by email or post something on our forum.
Greetings,
RedruM

That’ll get you going.
Hi !
This ETF2L league is a big and great league to play in.
Unfortunately, right now we are in the middle of a season and therefore new teams cannot participate until next season starts. However, you can always quickly find other teams (from complete beginners to div 1 teams) to play against on Mirc (adress #tf.wars).
When you play a match it is 6 vs 6, classlimit 2 except for demo and medic where only 1 of each is allowed.
Typically a team consists of 2 soldiers, 1 demo, 1 medic and 2 scouts (but occasionally also a heavy, sniper, spy, pyro and engy depending on the map and the situation)
It’s #tf.wars, not #tf2wars.
If slick should be afk for some reason or you cant find him I’d be happy to help 2

#tf.wars would be your best bet to get scrims for your level mate. Seeing that you guys have just started, I would recommend advertising yourself as low–, so you don’t get trampled on completely by the opposition. Or you can look at the current season tables and contact some div 6 clans for friendlies. I’m sure they would be more than helpful.
The EnemyDown 6v6 ladder is still there if you fancy a kick around. It’s not majorly active, but some clans on there might be your level as well. Good luck mate, and if you have any more queries, you can pm me through my steam id.
ps: I wouldn’t recommend posting your email address on such a publin forum.
Here are some guidelines for competetive gaming:

also check the IRC thread here on forum http://etf2l.org/forum/general/topic-483/?recent=12350 to get some IRC channels.
You can also ask “cavaliers-blue” to PCW/FW no problem /Mon till Wed/
On irc >> #cavaliers-clan pm to me (freeVH or veehell)
cheers
Ty for all the info. I’ll contact Slick or/and g0d to get a little scrim going. Can’t contact right now, still on my work.
Shiftyno, naaa is not me. But a good website to check some movies.
Gl guys, dont get disheartened if you suck at first and lose alot(because everyone does). Keep working at it and you’ll get better and have alot of fun
