When do we get the medals?

Hello, I just wanted to check on this thread since I haven’t posted in a while. I’m wondering if the medals are coming soon or if there is still work to be done with modeling and what not, any ETA would be greatly appreciated! (sorry for my impatience). thanks!

Short answer: Yes, teams that won their group (in both 6v6 or HL) will receive gold medals stating their division.

Long answer: We haven’t made any final decisions yet, obviously, but let’s divide the medals into three categories:
1) Gold, silver and bronze in the highest division.
2) Gold for all groups in the remaining divisions.
3) Participation medals for everyone.

Now, all those medals will say what division you played in, but only the first category will state the season (it is the most prestigious medal, after all, and we wouldn’t require many new items to make them specific for each season). Any thoughts on excluding the season for the group winner medals and participation medals? I don’t think we’ll have much choice in the end, but I’d like to know how much people care about denoting the season for those medals.

Medal design depends a bit on the site design and logo. We’re currently waiting to finish the latter issue, after which there won’t be much medal work left.
