I lied, sue me.
Anyhow, now that i’ve got every single one of yours attention.
I shall ask this question: This question will only be asked once: A question above all questions!
But first a cool story:
You see, i just noticed that I’m actually user number 128 – but thats not why i made this thread (another lie) – so i immediately wanted to check who the legendary number 1 was(*gasp*). But to my surprise there were no user number 1, or 2, or 3… actually there were no users prior to number 9. And this is where my awesome theory comes into play, you see, number 8 must have been someone really important since ST8 had to settle for user number 9 … ST8, hes not named ST9, but ST8!!!
So after all that bla.bla. the questions remain:
Who was the oh-so important number 8?
And who are the even more oh-so important predecessors to number 8??
And can we start calling everybody after their user number? That would be soo cool!
lol, got 10 views within a second!! <3
edit: 23 views in less than 30sec!
Edit2: 42 in 1min. brb dinner

100% huarantee no lie
My guesses would be either:
– All users before 9 were made for pre-release testing and no longer exist as they have no use.
– UIDs 1 – 8 are reserved.
– Some part of the UID system uses octal and starts at 010 instead of 01.
Assuming the UID methods are mostly shared between teams/users, it doesn’t look like #3 is possible since http://etf2l.org/teams/2TID 2 exists[/url].
EDIT: Actually, I think there is something bigger at work here, since recruitment posts seem to have humungous gaps inbetween them. Maybe certain “groups” of IDs are incremented together?

wow, this could mean that its all bigger than we first could have imagined!
The system thats behind all this – that must have the answer – we have to find that answer! Fellow truth seekers, google til’ yer last breath!
More freaky is that you’re born in 1993
