suggestion for season 10

just a small suggestion arising from experiences I have had match arranging
in the lower div’s where there are loads of tables maybe try to group the teams according to rough time zones?
arranging matches with people who are + or – 1 to 2 hours different to your own team is fairly easy however in the past I have really struggled to field a team and arrange a time with teams who are +3 or +4 hours to CET/GMT especially if they are “younger” and cant play past 7pm CET through no fault of ours or the other team!
If tables were arranged according to a rough time zone then I am sure there would be less defaults and drops?

+ when you add a team for a season, make a comment window, that teams can write why they want to get promoted, with all screenshots etc… so you won’t read emails after you made a divisions

there is a thing called team description
I don’t know if it was intended, but in our div the teams were (mostly) from Eastern Europe.
what if your team has americans and far eastern euros?
that’s like a -5 to +2/+4 difference in both directions :<
The time zones of the players in a given team are taken into account as best we can. The only hindrance is the inaccuracy of some players’ chosen flags, besides the others already related to creating the divisions.
It’s not possible to change the flag anyway, why would anyone pick the wrong flag? Or do you mean team flags?

people do choose the wrong flags on purpose to be cool
maybe if they added some fucking proper flags and not “international” we wouldn’t have this problem

Well to be honest “International” is likely to mean very far away, usually anything south or west of Spain, so it’s safe to assume somewhere with a high ping. Looking into those a little further can tell us where they’re actually from and we can take that into consideration.
Since we’re coming up to summer, we’ll be having a look at the flags system and maybe adding more. From what I’ve seen before though the most useless flag is the European flag.
