So this is probably not big News for a lot of people, but I only just now took a closer look at the XML-API page and noticed the iCal feed. So I thought maybe someone would like it as well.
Prerequisites:
-iPhone
-Google-Account (Google-Calendar specifically)
-iPhone set up to sync with your Google-Account (set up as Exchange in your iPhone) needs to sync calendar at least.
Step 1: Include the feed in your Google Calendar
Sign in http://www.google.com/calendar and hit “Add” in the bottom left under “additional Calendars” and select “via URL”
In the pop up you enter the feed-URL: http://etf2l.org/feed/ical/?team[]=YOURTEAMID
and hit add calender. (YOURTEAMID: is the Number at the end of the URL when you look at your team profile.)
Next thing you should do is giving the added calendar a proper name, by clicking the arrow next to it and the the choosing “Edit Calendar”
Step 2: get it to sync with your iPhone
Open up safari on your iPhone and open http://m.google.com/sync
If you get an error saying: “Your device is not supported” click “change language” and select “English (UK)”
Then Log in and select your Device (If there are multiple Options choose the one with the latest date)
Then you select the Calendars you wish to sync and save.
Thats it.
Hope someone will consider this useful.

EDIT: hmm tried putting the URLs in code tags, so it doesn’t show up as LINK, but it didn’t help. You will have to rightclick and “copy address” or just hover and check the statusbar.
Also if some names of the options decribing what to do in Google Calendar are off it’s because I’ve translated them as I have it set to german.

fuck iphone!!!
android going huge!!!
I’ve been using this on my android phone for a few seasons now, it works quite nicely with the standard agenda app :)
Just add it to the google account synced with your phone, instant success.

Nice… Been managing a google calendar manually with my team, didnt know there was a feed like this based on your own team’s calendar. Also I don’t like the iPhone bias in the topic title :P
[edit]works like a charm, thx… But it’s added as an “additional calendar”, so to say. Is there any way to actually merge it with your own calendar?

Well most of the things you have to do are not iPhone-Specific, but I couldn’t be sure how/if it works with other Smartphones.

Why would you want to do that? You can view all the calendars at once anyways.

because my team is lazy and they all have to add this calendar manually instead of me just adding it to the general “UV team” calendar

Having made me curious if that is possible, I feel pretty confident saying that it’s not, not with Google Calendar atm or at least not how you would like it I guess.
You could merge them, but that would have to be done manually everytime something changes: It will not auto-update events from the etf2l feed.
You could have both calendars display through the “HTML” feature, but your teammates would have to open a website everyday to check for events and wouldn’t be able to add events or have them display in their own google calendar account.
