How many Div1/2 people are there from Scotland/Ireland/Wales? Enough to make full teams?

Seem to me more people are calling for serparate teams without actually realising that their national team wouldn’t have many Div1/2, maybe 3, players in it, and ultimately would completely fail.

I’d rather see 1 strong UK team that could compete well with Scandanavian teams than 4 rubbish teams that all suck.

Yes because they’re good. everyone else wanting to make a 2nd team/split them up isn’t good enough to play for team uk or w/e. what im saying is it would be a boring watch, because they aren’t as good. so there wouldn’t be as much publicity.

go away and rethink what you’ve been saying. splitting up team uk would be stupid and not as much publicity, because the other teams would be shit/not as good.

In football for example you have to live in that country for a certain amount of years or have a direct relationship which doesn’t span past one of the following: Mother, Father, Grandmother, Grandfather.

I’d qualify in football through relationship via mother, I also lived in Glasgow and had an address for there 4 years in Uddingston ,although I was born in London.

I also think Vale are being pretty elitest in their opinions. Team Fortress 2 isn’t just ‘serious business’, it’s not just about those Scottish, Irish or Welsh players which aren’t good enough to play in Team UK to get their own team. Why do they have to want to represent 4 nations instead of one sole Unitary State?

I agree that in sport 99% of the time you play the best team to represent your country; however this is not sport but TF2, stop trying to suck the fun out of the game? Let countries divide and create MORE competition.

To bring it down to sports levels again, not all countries are uber amazing at every given sport they have a team in. Other countries are stronger than others. I think I’ll stop there though because you’re being extremely arrogant and rude to people just because you can.

i’m not saying any of that at all. i’m saying that team uk shouldn’t split just so that lower div players can have a go, because it would be boring to play with/against/ to watch.
