Are playoffs going to work the same way in S9 as S8?

As title states :)
It has probably already been answered somewhere but I couldn’t find it, so apologies in advance =)

The premier division playoff structure will be changed a bit to make better use of the results of the season. First, the team that placed 4th in the season will play versus the 3rd placed team. The winner of that match will play against the 2nd placed for a spot in the Grand Final versus the team that ranked 1st.

also, we might be lucky if we get 4 prem teams to play at the end of the season by the looks of things.
Yeah there are plans to re-structure the Premier Division if it becomes any smaller.
does etf2l have plans to cater for the wishes of prem teams that are current or have left?
or would any changes affect the whole league? :D
