ESL won’t be a ‘balanced’ top division. It will look very similar to the ETF2L prem division, but the overall skill level will be higher. There will still only be 4 teams capable of winning ESL prem, a few teams below capable of taking games off of those 4 (upsets), and a battle at the bottom of the division of teams that have no chance of competing with the top of the division teams.

Urg I’m not going to try explaining what I said in depth. There are 4 teams that have any realistic change of winning the prem, in both leagues. Pick the best 4 teams in both premier divisions, then pick the 5th team, and tell me you honestly think they could win the season. I’m going out on a limb and saying there is no chance.

Do the same with the top 3 teams in both premier divisions, and then pick the 4th team. In both divisions, I can actually see a pretty decent chance of them being able to win the league.

The skill level is just a notch higher in ESL.
