just see it this way:
Medic being able to keep uber while spawning back to CP1 is not a bonus for bad teams. It’s a _punishment_ for bad teams, who weren’t able to prevent a lone medic from running into second resup.
See, how it changed? Applying the same kind of logic as you guys (little to none), I can just reverse the argument. Here, I’ll do it in a language that you will understand:
Omg, you div6 noobs! If you are not able to kill a medic without support running to 2nd spawn after mid, you DESERVE to be punished. GJ etf2l for not lowering the skillcap and rewarding retarded tactics!

This is a non issue let it rest, now it’s out in the public domain, it’s no-longer even a sneaky tactic, and if it means people start defending badlands a different way in the hope that they can now back-spawn, it may make that map more interesting
3 solutions,
1, ask people nicely not to do it
2, ask valve to lock forward re-spawn on badlands
3, ask valve to change it back so load-outs can only be changed at a resupply cabinet

I really don’t see a medic spawn jumping with uber any different to medic dies at mid, a scout and soldier spawn at the same time, the scout goes medic and starts building the uber for 15 seconds before the regular medic is due to spawn, when the medic spawns he goes engy/heavy/pyro
That all the ‘Pro’ players said is fine if you can pull of multi-classing it is good (regardless of how much/little skill going heavy on last takes)- however the team still circumvented the respawn times for medic so while team A thought they now have 15 seconds uber advantage, it turns out they have zero (this would not be possible if class limits were enforced by the config)
You can replace medic with demo in a similar situation, it takes little skill to place a sticky trap on a door or last to help defend a point whilst your demo is re-spawning, hell you can swap back when the demo spawns. So withing the rules and approved by all the players no-longer playing in etf2l you never need to play without a demo/medic

Has been known for ages, everybody can do it and Valve never patched it (must be intentional). Why ban this then?
Tickus doesn’t understand how having to slow down the enemy for 10 seconds to get uber up differs from having no uber at all.

Yeah ban medics changing loadout in the middle of the game!
Lets ban ppl changing spawn IT IS SAME THING – u were trapped in fwd spawn and ‘run’ away to another one changing classes when you actually should be spawned in the same spawn with different class – lets ban ppl doing it.
Noone wanted to ban it for a few months now, but suddenly it is gamebreaking!.

if you havent thought about this on other maps. Lets take a fast example on Granary.
You (Team Blu Medic.) and mister x. (Red Medic) both die in middle fight. You die a bit earlier and spawn with a friendly soldier OR demo to your CP1, instead of switching spawns normally OR wasting time to get to middle and be ready to push, now you can charge uber on spawn, your teammates cap middle and maybe second point too, you can have a massive 20-50% advantage and just switch the spawn to yard/enemy yard while having a shit amount of uber advantage over the enemy team. Enemy team trying to slow you down on this point is kinda obsolete.

You wont have an uber advantage, just a time advantage of around 7 seconds (distance from spawn to resup), as the best option without switching would be to walk to mid with the soldier.

well you wont have an uber advantage, yes, both will be equal but you still save 70%…
durp. Everyone in every division in this thread is stupid! none of you have a decent argument. Basically it is a bug that you don’t stay in the same spawnroom if you change loadout or hat, etc when really you should. Changing class should be the only way to change spawn room. end

It’s been done by numerous clans before who knew it and no-1 moaned, If people have only just cracked on that its possible then thats unlucky but the simple fact of this message is that ETF2L WON;T be banning this, It will be allowed to happen for season 9.
