First off all, I did not delete you so stop posting bullshit. Second, I gave you several different possible dates when we could play but you waited to long to reply. Sorry, but tbh I don’t think it’s bad sportmanship because it’s your own fault. And even if it were I don’t really care.

The admin had 2 options. The first was to set the default date to the only date suggested, 3 days ago. The team suggesting the date saw this, shows up. The other team doesn’t see it because they haven’t been on the match page for at least 3 days already and thus gets the default loss.
You dont get it, do you?
The default date was set on the same day it should have been played on. only 6 hours in advance.
We saw the suggestion, but talked over steam days before thursday.

well then you either pressed ignore me, or you went extra offline, because you were ingame when i wrote you. still the same…
Not only you offered some dates, but we did too. you told us you cant play the following week (so week3) and even sunday wouldnt have worked out.
and im pretty sure we didnt wait too long to reply.
Yet there is not a single word on the match page that shows that you have. Admins aren’t psychic, they don’t know that you have. If you don’t post chatlogs on the match page, they will never know either
i know and that was the mistake, but the consequence shouldnt be a default loss, but a default date.
So instead of complaining about the admins, complain to your opponents for not wanting to reschedule (although, if you look at the rules, they don’t have to, though it would be good sportsmanship). The admins did the best thing they could with the information provided by you and your opponents.
Your point is that default dates should be set at least 24h (or whatever timeframe you want) before they are scheduled. This is impossible in certain cases (like yours) because there is just no information for the admins to work with other than what’s posted on the match page. The only other option would be to make up a time theirselves with a fair chance of penalizing the team that, according to the provided information, is the only team that did an effort in trying to get it scheduled.
Rather than making a rule for how much time there should be between setting a default date and the default date itself, people should just schedule their own matches and let the admins know what’s going on. That way you won’t get shit like this, not by setting some dumb rule
My opinion on first post: just schedule your games, then there’s no problem

I think the admin had two options which didnt do any harm. Set the default date 24 hours earlier. Or moved the match to the next thursday. Was that really so hard?
