Setting Up A Highlander Server

Hi, I’m trying to set up a Highlander Server. I’ve been running a reliable 32 man server for the past year or so, but I was wondering if there was any sort of guidelines, addons, or cfgs so that I can make a server that will be as close to what to expect for competition matches?
Thanks, HD.
Match Server.
Set up an 18 slot server (19 if you want STV), and put the official config on it. Simples :)

Okay, found the official config, loading it after each map, What is Stop Watch mode, and how do I configure that?

Then this pretty much tbh. You do not want sourcemod in any shape or form on a match server. Just learn to use rcon if you’re used to SM. :)

Doesn’t STV add a slot for itself? So an 18 slot will say 19 when you activate STV but it will always have 1 ‘player’ in the server?
Proper Match server:
There is very little that you have to do for this. Just find a server provider that can offer at least 18 slots (i.e. all of them, pretty much) and has the option for you to install SourceTV (STV) on the server. The rest of down to the use of the FTP. For instance, you’ll need to upload the ETF2L.cfg onto your server.
Our clan’s #2 server, ran by myself, is a public server by default and a Highlander Match Server so SourceMod is present on the server. If you are going to use SM, make sure you set “War Mode On” in the admin menu after you’ve executed the ETF2L config as this will prevent any plugins from interfering with your matches. A better idea would probably be adding the WarMode commands to the ETF2L config so you don’t have to remember doing it. I have asked SnowiE about the class limits issue with official Highlander matches and the mp_highlander variable should be at 0 as to allow people to swap classes more easily during matches.
Public Highlanders:
All that will probably be needed is a map cycle which would be good for Highlander matches (that’s something you’ll have to decided yourself seeing as to how subjective that statement is from person to person.) You should set mp_highlander to 1 when you’re setting up a HL Pub to avoid any collusion. :D
EDIT: Yes, when you install STV, it will add an extra slot for the STV bot.

Thanks a ton guys for the help.
Ignore the part where Leftism said about installing sourcetv.
All you have to do is just add
tv_enable 1
to server.cfg and restart server/change map.
PS: I have this horrible feeling that I’m forgetting something.

Ah. Well my server provider had a facility in the admin control panel about installing it, so presumed they all did a similar thing. Weirdly, I still had to put tv_enable 1 in the server console before it was present. :-
Still, it’s nice to know for future servers, cheers Floaty. ;)
This is also going to seem really noobish, but what is the command to load a cfg manually. (ex: The map has changed, i need to run the official cfg now, what do i put into console.)

rcon exec etf2l.cfg
exec, thanks.
(I want to run it as a public practice server, then be able to turn off mp_highlander and run the official config)
