Sorry to add to all the threads flying about, but couldn’t see this anywhere.
On Viaduct, do we just exec the etf2l config, do we set mp_windifference 0, or do we set mp_timelimit 0?
Not sure which category viaduct falls under you see, thanks in advance.

Thought it was mp_timelimit 30, mp_windifference 3.
Maybe I’m wrong.
It is.
In the mean while, we (ESH) figured out that timelimit 30 isn’t the best idea ever, just winlimit 3 and timelimit 0 should be the way. That way, if you’re really fast it’ll take 12 minutes, if you’re really slow, it’ll take 35, plus you won’t get annoying things like timelimit kicking in when you’re just about to win :)

Yes that would be the correct way to do it:
mp_timelimit “0”
mp_winlimit “3”
mp_tournament_stopwatch “0”
If you remove timelimit from koth, then there is no chance of it ending in a draw. What is your reasoning behind allowing a draw on gravelpit but not on koth? You might as well play best-of-three on gravelpit then? (Currently you play best-of-two and then a golden cap.)

Isn’t winlimit 3 on viaduct meaning the game will last max. 18 minutes total?
According to the Rules for Maps: http://etf2l.org/rules/general-rules/
all non-stopwatch maps have timelimit of 30 minutes.
Ergo my post was incorrect:
mp_timelimit “30”
mp_winlimit “idkbecausenotfoundanywhere”
if you execute etf2l.cfg file found here, you’ll see that mp_timelimit is correct, but mp_winlimit “0”
I’m not sure that was intended, but comparable configs are
mp_winlimit “4”
mp_timelimit “20”
Seems a need to clear up by the admins.
Where is it stated Draws on A/D maps? My undestanding they are bo3.

Gravelpit will be bo3 for the Highlander Tournament actually.
We’ll take a look at the settings etc. soon and see how they can be more clear / unified.
I notice there are new configs up, guessing we just run the one for pl/ad/koth now then?
Or do we have to throw some extra commands in?
I ask because of the responses above, and these lines in the config:
mp_windifference 0
mp_winlimit 0
Also:
2.1.4 Maximum roster size: 14 Players
A maximum of 14 players can be signed up in a team for this tournament. All of them will receive a medal when their team wins one.
Is this being enforced or not? I spoke to an admin in IRC a while back and was told there’s no limit, but no clear answer if that rule’s there. Guessing it will be, would be nice to get a yes/no.
Like both newspost and the rules state, your teams needs to be 10-14 players or you will not qualify.
Checked the rules again, so yeah, winlimit of 3 for KOTH, but obviously you don’t need to set that anywhere, you can just stop playing.
^Thanks
*hint
Viaduct for season8 plox:)
It’s cool map, it’s KOTH and it’s different and new.
