In section 2.8 of the AFS-specific rules, it says “Dropped teams’ results will be deleted if they play less than 75%”, then immediately after says “if they miss more than 75%”.

Playing less than 75% of matches is missing more than 25%, not 75%.

Likewise missing more than 75% of matches is playing less than 25%, not 75%.

The example the rule gives after the contradiction adheres to the “playing less than 75%”, but this could be misinterpreted :>

So how many points do you get for disarming the bomb then?

kuma

the % rule should be removed anyway, it should be set to a fixed amount regardless of how many other teams fold in your division.

As it stands your team may get removed from the league if you default 1 match, and 4 other teams drop (and 4 teams dropping from 1 division in the summer, not that unlikely)

I’m pretty sure they mean if you’ve played 75% of matches. Allowing teams to miss over 25% of their matches & still showing their scores would be retarded.

Yeah it’s a mistake, we’ll get it fixed.

No they’re two seperate rules. If you default lose 3 games then you’re automatically dropped. The percentage rule only decides whether a dropped teams’ results will still count or not.

does not matter :p

apart from the last sentence from rule 2.8 needs to be changed or re-written

I assume you are going to do that anyway

in a division with eight or less teams left, you can miss only one match.

Didn’t think it was worth creating a thread as Its only minor and I expect admins are already on the case:

The map pool states “cp_gullywash” to be in the map pool and Arnold has released “cp_gullywash_imp3”. Gullywash wont be played til the 6th week but I guess the sooner we know anything the better :)

why did they got 4-1 isntead of 5-1?

It sometimes baffles me how people find seemingly unrelated topics to dump their question in. Anyway:

They got 5-1.
