On VanillaTF2 we are doing a survey about which maps and unlockables people think should be in the next ETF2L season. Our hope is that the ETF2L admins will take the survey into consideration when deciding the Season 8 format.

These are some of the questions we are asking:

– What is your opinion about TDH, Equalizer and FaN?
– What should the map pool be for Season 8?
– Should the Gunboats be allowed?
– Could turbine be improved by changing the map format?
– Is it a problem that A/D maps often tie?

Troubleshooting

Q. I played for a team in Season 7 but it tells me “You are not allowed to participate in this poll.”
A. If your team dropped then you can’t vote. If your team didn’t drop, then post a comment with a link to your ETF2L user profile and a link to the match you played in Season 7 and I will add you to the system.

Q. In step 3 it says “an error occurred.”
A. This happens when it can’t retrieve your Steam Friends name. This can either be because you haven’t set up a community profile or Steam Community might be down. In the latter case, all you can do is wait for it to come back online.

Q. In step 3, after clicking Continue, it tells me “Please follow the steps carefully.”
A. This means that either you are not online on Steam Friends or you didn’t change your nickname as you were instructed. Try again.

Voted, would have liked more options for some questions but I guess a more streamlined poll is easier to answer for most people.
