I would suspect that flying to wherever and bussing out from there would be the most economical?
Grab a few warmup cans on the bus on the thursday evening
I’ll be visiting thursday, but then im off to reading festival :[ and i already live in england so meh!

They were expensive for i39 as well, until about a month before the time. That said, it was April. Things might be pricier in August (hopefully not)…
Quick check, seems to be 70 euro return (thur-mon) most places, excluding 10 euro random credit card fee and 40 euro if you want to check anything in. I expect/hope it’ll go down though.
if the flights are too expensive, you could always try get the ferry, go as foot passengers, not sure of prices, but I dont think its too bad. :)
I wouldn’t expect much of a decrease, it’s late but it’s still the summer holidays
Looks like Dublin to Gatwick including 1 bag and fees for being random is €115 with Aer Lingus and €120 with Ryanair.
