For i49, have a seeded group of 14 or 15 teams that play games for seeding in the eliminations bracket. The rest of the teams can play groups the same way, with 1 or 2 teams winning a place in the elimination bracket. Kind of how MLG do their SC2-tournaments.

This was suggested and discussed in depth before the event, but it essentially came down to, the system not supporting it and implementation taking too long/not being worth it.
