As many of you now know The epic.FIVE LAN Party takes place from 24th – 27th February 2011 at Uttoxeter Racecourse, Staffordshire, UK.
The guys at epic lan will put the following minimum into the prize pot!

1st Place – 75% (£750) + 6 full epic.LAN event tickets
2nd Place – 25% (£250) + 6 epic.LAN £20 off discount vouchers

So this is a great lan event for up and coming teams or perhaps some div2/3/4 guys after some money for playing video gamezs!?!

Also another great selling point is that you can get your prize money in your paypal or bank account that day/next working day!! No waiting around to spend your munneys.

Cost:£55 Participant – Launch Discount: Only £50 until 6pm 1st November
£10 Spectator Day Pass, £20 Spectator Whole Event Pass
So the cost is almost half that of the multiplay lans for those of you worried about cost!

This looks to be a great lan setup and a big step for tf2 in the uk! The event should be dominated by TF2 players but theres also going to be alot of players from the epic lan community who im sure will want to see your mad rocket jumping skills.

Thinking of trying the turbine first to 3 best of 3 mode, maybe vanilla or in contast complete allowing of all unlocks? :) Your thaughts plx!

YUSSS do it but maybe not first to 3 but first to 5?
Is the general idea 10 minute rounds?

Maybe keep wrangler out? Not sure on what the community thinks
