Do you mean that some elements are shown as default or did you find any bugs in particular?

I have the exactly same problems. I also didn’t modify anything. I deleted my old hud completely. Any fixes yet ?
I really like this HUD, though i honestly like “broeselhud” better. I play medic, and i really like to have the Übercharge-panel in the middle. If i was playing anything else than medic, this would be the HUD for me!
Honestly, it’s terrible.
BroeselHUD is in the top 1 or 2 best huds in the game due to it’s simplicity and cleanliness… and due to that fact, I have never switched from it after discovering it.
What makes the original Broesel so good?
– Easy to read HP
– Easy to read Ammo
– Perfect placement on screen of the above
– Small an unobtrusive time indicator
– Can easily see if you’re buffed
– Better than average hud in terms of medic elements
– Small kill feed
How can you make the original BroeselHUD the best hud?
– Make ammo turn red or blink red (like low health) when it gets low
– Maybe go with one of those sexy new fandangled fonts, like the one in your new hud. But I like the current one just fine.
Medic changes:
See Screenshot of Changes
– Increase the size of your healing targets health/buff area.
– Move the healing target closer to the crosshair.
– Move the target’s health who you are not healing to above the crosshair.
– Make the ubercharge bar a bit larger.
Please man, just go back to updating your original and best hud.

This whole thing is more appropriate to post in “broeselhud” topic, and reading the readme is recommended.
If you want the ammo to blink red when you have low (reserve) ammo, open scripts/HudAnimations_tf.txt and follow the instructions.
Oh, and yeah, whole milkyhud looks great by far. No idea why everyone trying compare it to broeselhud. Fuck haters.

Maybe because this hud isn’t as good as his previous work?
Sure, there are some areas which Milky beats Broesel in, like aesthetics/looking pretty. But as a competitive hud, no.

“Good”, huh? You may like the HUD, because it’s useful to you and thus you consider it as a “good” HUD, and vice versa. But, please, don’t extrapolate your subjective proposition on the object itself. This is simply not a very smart way of thinking for a, cough, mature person like you are.
Anyhow, if broesel decided to make a brand new HUD, this means he is not satisfied with his previous work anymore, and you are not in power to make him like it again and keep on improving it.

Actually, he wrote on his the page of his other HUD that he is still updating.

Wowowowow what’s going on in here?
Let me clear this up:
I’m not going to stop working on broeselhud and neither am I “not satisfied with it anymore”. Actually, I’m improving it quite a lot in version 2.2, that’s part of why the update takes so long:
– reworked the HUD crosshairs
– added MvM support
– reworked the spec HUD
– added a “Play Co-Op” button to the main menu
– updated Clientscheme.res
– updated hudlayout.res
– updated the animations file
– removed the “x” on the CP cap count
– increased the font size of the CP cap count
– added Surface-Numbers font
– fixed some minor alignment issues on the Stopwatch HUD
– fixed the TargetID buff cross not being centered on the HP
– fixed the team name input field on the tournament HUD
– fixed several charge meters not being white
– added support for the Hitman’s Heatmaker
– added support for the Special Delivery game mode
– added the flag to the CTF-arrow when picking up the intel
– fixed the CP timer in Medieval Mode
– added support for the Flying Guillotine
– added the “Marked for Death” icon
– decreased the shadow offset on the following elements:
* last damage done
* sticky count
* TargetID HP numbers
– increased the team name boundaries on the following elements [fix for ESEA players]:
* tournament setup panel
* winpanel
* scoreboard
MvM support and the new spec HUD aren’t finished yet, I’m working on it though, not on milkyHUD.
