I spent the whole morning working on my new KuG Version and I gotta say I’m impressed with my own job. I just hope everyone likes it as well :)

You mean yellow numbers on red?

Aswell as green/blue for ammo and the background looks less transparent in the new version.

So basically I would prefer the old version only with the position for reserved Ammo changed to the new one, so that heavy and pyro ammo aren’t bigger than the box.

PS: I also preferred the old reserve Ammo positioning but I can’t think of a way to remove the box when weapons without reserve Ammo are being used.

Yes because that version was just a sketch. I didn’t really plan on doing it like that :)
If you watch closely all I did was make the boxes and reduce the size of the font from Nizza version :)

It’s a shame that you don’t enjoy the new version tho, I personally think it’s much better because it is different, better readability and just alot smexier :p

Hi, i think i fell in love with your HUD, it looks really amazing. There are just few thing that I don’t like about it. Well, some of them are because of my shitty monitor with ratio 5:4 (1280×1024) I guess… Anyway here are screenshots of it.

This isn’t a big deal but sometimes it sticks red even if health is full.

There are more things, first one is the window where it shows player’s weapons, hats etc. Would be nice if you can also theme it so it will fit the rest of the HUD. The second one is chat and kill notices, I’m not sure if it’s also because of my ratio or if you want it like this, but it looks strange when there is too much space above it (atleast for me). If you want it like it and you won’t change it then it’s ok, it’s your HUD after all, but it would be nice from you if you tell me how I can move it up.

Besides those little things it’s really nice HUD.

About your little problems, well I haven’t done anything except for the main HUD itself because this is a very early version of it. The scoreboard problems are not from your resolution but because I haven’t done the scoreboard yet and I just used the one from Nizza version. The low HP when not low on HP bug is Valve’s fault not mine, happens on every HUD :)

The only problem relative to your resolution is the last one, with the chat window and inspect panel. I could try to move it up (the inspect panel) but the chat I can’t do nothing about it except maybe for making it narrower :S

Now onto the kill notices, I lowered them a bit so they wouldn’t conflict with the round time when there were big names involved but if you want to raise it up just go to scripts/hudlayout.res, find “HudDeathNotice” and lower the “ypos” to like “7”

I hope everything’s clear now :)

There is no 12v12 scoreboard. Either 16v16 or 6v6 :)
