Try installing the following fonts that are included:

resource\fonts\Surface.otf
resource\fonts\Surface-Sharpened.ttf

It used to be an issue on PC, but I have no idea how that works on Macs :S

I apologize if somebody has posted about this before, but I’m getting what I believe to be some odd bugs (imgur album with screenshots) with this HUD on my mac. When introducing the sharpened version of Surface for the big numbers I forgot to include the full PostScript name of the font (SurfaceSharpened-Medium) and instead used “Surface Sharpened”, which is the family name. Windows doesn’t seem to care whether the family name, full name, or PostScript name is used whereas OS X only accepts the PostScript name.

I’ll update the HUD today :)

Some weeks before i switched to another hud it worked perfectly.

Also in your ClientScheme.res for surface36shadow you don’t actually have shadow enabled. Missing this:

"dropshadow" "1"
