I dont know if its related but I keep getting fps drops in TF2 now since using this new steam UI. I would get around 150fps on mid fights and high explosions etc.. now it’s around 60-80. Like I said, might now be related.

I think its causing slight FPS drops but my TF2 has been jerky since i updated to win7 (tempremental internet etc also included in that)…:/

In my eyes its ugly and my game lags now if i dont close steamfriends while playing. it sucks!
I like it, no fps drops and no problems.
But there should be a option so you could change.
Dropped from ~100 fps to like 60 and it feels like 5 fps…
For anyone with FPS issues, try the new Steam beta in Steam settings.
