Some people care more about winning than having a fair game. Some people are just jerks. Haters gonna hate.
Did you win NMX/Waster?, you know when it dropped to 6v5, did you win that round vs the bottom of a div 6 team who was a man down?

LOL. Read the post above. Who cares who is winning. Its about having a fun game.
For the record. I was already searching for another war in that game. Whats the point in playing 5vs6.
Waster I have the demo from that game and the only person being a douche in it is you.

The irony is blowing my mind.
We’re generally pretty leniant with mercs – we’ll let most teams use a merc against us, although we’ll naturally check his clan history and see how his current clan are doing etc before accepting that player.
That said, when teams demand to use a merc, or to use a merc, then another merc, … and then to change their first merc, then to change the second merc etc we do get a bit fed up and say no. Especially when they then get a full team into the server! :o

We get flak from opponents a lot, even though we are generally very reasonable people. Part of the rage comes from misunderstanding skill ratings. When I look for a game I advertise like 6v6/div5/server is on. Most people are too lazy to find an opponent themselves (or don’t want to play a div5 team, dunno), so I start looking for teams that advertise themselves as low+. Which in my book means something like “I am in div5”. I get the feeling that I am the only one that thinks that way, as I see div4 teams advertising as low+ and div6 teams advertising as mid-. Anyway, when I talk to a team that ISN”T advertising themselves as low- and tell them that we’re in div5 and that I would like to play a PCW, I really don’t see a reason for the opponent to ragequit if they loose. It’s not as if we are up for promotion to div4 or something. It’s not me that’s faking skill…
EDIT: perhaps if you notice the massive skilldifference it would be sportsmanlike for the better team to call it a day.
got to agree with this too many times had low div 5 teams saying they r mid/mid – which can be irating when looking for a challenge.. but yeah sorry to hear about that lolage =/. But i think you will get it in all games..

I’d say pretty much everyone cares more about winning than having a fair game if they have the choice. Just look at how people teamstack in tf2lobby. Most games end up being 5-0’s that last 10-15 mins.
if searching on irc for a match … how about asking if your opponents are a team? and if they say yes, ask for the name of the team ? easy as that
or get in contact with teams of your division and schedule a pcw so you can play 2 maps with them
