Hey guys.
I have some problems with my ingame sounds. After I installed win7 my ingamesound sound like far away(sometimes). Any ideas about the problem?
Not sure what you mean by “far away”, if you’re describing what I think you’re describing maybe TF2 is misdetecting your audio configuration.
Try snd_surround_speakers "0" in your autoexec, does this fix it?
No it doesnt fix it :/
yeah.it sometimes sounds like that the models are miles away.

Right Click the speaker in the taskbar
Go to Playback Devices > Communications > Do Nothing
