Looks a lot nicer than that slim font shit imo
All I changed was:
basefont=”Verdana Bold”
basefontbold=”Verdana Bold”
In the steam.styles file
I’m assuming you can change those 2 fonts into whatever font you have installed on your pc.

I like the addition of the clock to the in game overlay.
edit: and for fonts, try cambria or myriad pro

so steam is now transparent. woo hoo! just the feature ive been waiting for. now i can faintly see my porn videos whole i browse for games!. :P dling!

From a random forum thread I found that was discussing the new Steam UI.
Segoe UI really does do the trick and the font is more readable :)

Yup! I now changed to Segoe UI and Segoe UI Semibold instead, which worked.

Ah, well, I’m still on XP on this computer, so maybe that’s why. I’m assuming you have win7 or vista or smt ;p
Some fonts make everything blank, some fonts only do this to the drop down menus.
None, however, work properly.
Uninstalling it is also impossible. After D2M helped me manually browse through all the empty menus I managed to get it off, but repairing steam install, reinstalling steam, removing registry, adding -nobeta, none of these did anything.
It’s quite annoying that it doesn’t work, but hell it’s even worse if you can’t get rid of it :(
