Consol bug? -or whatever

When iam playing i get these wierd messages:
Achievements disabled: Steam not running.

Anyone know how to fix it cus its spamming my consol :S
Is it not simple? Achievements are not working becuase steam is not online or w/e.
sv_cheats might be on.

Or did you mean CONSOL Energy, the american coal mining company? Maybe you were referring to consols as in a type of bond issued by the government of the United Kingdom? If those are not what you meant, the only other thing I could think of would be the A&M Consolidated High School, a high school in College Park, Texas, US.

That is a possibility, but I reject the notion that I was posting unrelated, derailing material and/or text, I was merely trying to contribute to the discussion and help the OP rid himself of the terrible problem he fell prey to.

well this “bug” is kinda really annoying and i want to turn it off but i dont know how… and yes i have connection to steam or steam is online and no… sv_cheats are not enabled
please keep this topic clean of any senseless posts if u want to help me post something and if not just search for another thread that u can fill with your not useful things…
and btw. i have all achievements

put;
clear
at the end of your autoexec, clears all the shit out of console when you’ve loaded up. No idea how to remedy it if its happening while ur playing. Surely it can’t piss you off THAT much?

Means steam isn’t running.
Is steam cloud turned on etc. etc. etc. etc.
Stop looking in console it’s not going to hurt you.
