I’m looking for a new mouse since mine is slowly dying. I’m pretty sure I’m looking for a small and light mouse. Also cheap is good too. This is why I’m looking at the Kinzu. The lack of side buttons doesn’t really bother me. Anyone use it?
Also what would be a good mouse mat to go with it? If it matters to anyone I’m solly who uses 20cm/360 ish.

Don’t buy any hardware from SS. Plastic shit that’ll break in less than a year.
That’s with all brands. I buy a new DeathAdder every year.
I don’t know anything about the Kinzu. But I read some reviews and they were pretty good.
For the mousemat, don’t take a cloth one. Since you say you want a light mouse, I guess you want lighter tracking too. Cloth can be heavy to play on sometimes. So get a SteelSeries SX (I think, I only use Qck+ :D ).
if you dont mind the lack of sidebuttons get a wheel mouse optical if it fits your hands, because the kinzu has severe positive acceleration problems

Well my opinion is the same about Razer too. I’ve had my mx518 for ~about 5 years now and still works like a charm. I’ve had my Sennheiser headset for over 5 years and that too still hasn’t broke.
the kinzu is _very_ small, smaller than the g3, consider the xai instead, but bear in mind both mice have possitive accel, although on 20cm/360 you’ll barely notice it. The G5 or G500 are perfect in terms of accurate 360’s, but the g5 will skip at low sens, the G500 is a beast, although the side buttons are annoying.
I have heard a lot of warnings about the Kinzu regarding negative acceleration and such.
However, I haven’t tested it myself so I cannot confirm or deny this.
ive had my deathadder since it was realeased. Its just because i dont cry when i die

Well, +1, best mouse I have ever tried.
However, it is not small and a little bit heavy so probably not that fitting for the guy here..
Also it is very expensive.

i did cry with win7. but with xp it’s fine.
If you use a SS mousepad, don’t get the Kinzu as it will result in skipping and other annoying stuff, even with drivers. Pretty cool to release a mouse that doesn’t work with their own mousepads :D
Bought one, worked fine for the first few weeks, but soon the drivers didn’t load correctly, there was cursor jumping and it changed sensitivity every time I booted up, was so frustrating, would not recommend it, yeah it’s a small and good looking mouse but the one I got was so bad, now I see why it was so cheap and in a deal on overclockers :3
Maybe getting a qck with it free and using it could have been a factor for it’s failure, like appe said, but for me it certainly wasn’t only that, as the drivers didn’t load correctly after 3 weeks :(
Also there is positive acceleration: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9O4h2OP1DI
Microsoft mice ftw!
