Basically on some frag movies you can see the hands but no actual gun. How do you do this? :$ :D

that happens because after specific updates, certain weapon models didn’t work in STV(-demo’s) and thus don’t show up. I don’t know if there’s a way to force this, except for alt-tabbing often enough to make your weapon bug out and give the same result :P

Does anyone know why this still hasn’t been fixed? Surely it’s the oldest bug in TF2?

just thought it’d be a good comprimise between viewmodels and no viewmodels. as i feel i can aim better with viewmodels but they get in the way..

Ah, i suppose you could force it with sv_pure 0 by making a custom model but nah, not for comp play.

Its a glitch, but why would you want to do it anyway? :S

p.s. Only lazy movie editors put out movies with it, I restarted TF2 3 times while making Flushes movie as it kept happening. :P
