Just worked it out you need 81 guns to build a random hat.
You need 85 Guns to build a class hat.
Surely by the time u have found 85 gun you will have found a hat.

Well if it was less, idlers would have every single hat in the game within a month.

It is a pain in the arse but at least crafting weapons is much easier. If you accidently deleted all your sandviches you can make another one out of miniguns and jarate.
