i can understand you, but i personally don´t have that much problems against tdh.
in the most cases i don´t jump anymore like i did before. -> part of the problem is solved.
i had more problems with the splashdamage of the old rocketlauncher, so i think its ok now.
we will see how the things go on, but i think you ahve to get on with it.
I’d rather go play demo in div5 if thats what it comes down to.
Clearly need to form epic scout partnership and rape div6 as a 2 man team
I agree though, new weapons have made the game seem less fun, goddamn quake srs business wep0n.

I’ve played more medic since the patch than ever before.. i find something MORE fun about having to concentrate harder to dodge better. Admittedly only on turbine pub, but there it is.

Ye, it is fun indeed. For the first week or so. When its your main class for 9 months and you play it all the time, you just can’t be fucked concentrating all the bloody time if you get what i mean. :)

just tell your soldiers not to jump away from you.
if that doesnt work your teams teamplay is a much greater issue than the direct hit…
learn to dodge, dont jump into incoming rockets. Problem solved :P
I’ve not really had much of a problem with it, the first match i played was a joke because i got 1 hit killed about 3 times. After that though, like others have said, i made an effort to stop jumping and it makes some places alot easier to cope with. I found mid points to be alot less of a threat because its much easier to avoid spam if you’re paying attention.
I guess its similar to when the opposing team uses a sniper, you have to be more aware not to put yourself in danger by going into his line of fire (where possible). I guess its just going to be like that all the time now. Though i definitely agree that the minicrit is horrible in general, not just as a medic.

just recruit ziggy as ur mentor, we all know he’s good at quake and maybe he can give you tips on how to be good at fast stuff.
Aye, As said, problem isn’t that I “can’t” play with this, I just don’t want to as it isn’t fun.
Don’t exactly see the “soldiers go more aggressive now” part of it, though the part where you die more is more than correct. Your soldiers giving you less protection is them being absolute retards, not the weapons being gay. (the clue is to yell at them)
After some nice testing in the esportsheaven cup tonight, 1 shot with the DH on a medic with full health = uber dropped. Uber can’t even be triggered in time when the soldier is at a certain range as the rocket hits you faster than you find time to react. Which is pretty awesome. It’s like a scout 1-shot that you don’t see coming.
The buff banner works like a second ubercharge (kritz), makes the whole medic uber push thing pointless when the other team can push at any time with the banner, force the uber at any time and just randomly crit your face for no reason. Ruins the entire way the game is played in a 6v6.
Overall, medicing is shite and boring (as if it wasn’t before). I hope everyone in my team dies so i don’t have to do it anymore.

buff banner is like crits only way better.
Your entire team gets mini crits and coordinates automatically.
Instead of 1 guy recieving full crits and probably dying and your team too slow to react and wasting the uber.
Buff banned should just give the players closeby cloak when they aren’t fireing. so you can cloak your entire team and shoot them in the back.
