give me my unlocks back

Ok, basically, i’m supposed to have unlocked 2/3 of the demo weapons and all the soldiers unlocks. What happened is yesterday night, steam was a bit fucked around 23cet when i got the milestone 2 (soldier) and 1 & 2 (demo).
So i can see in my inventory when i move my mouse on the soldier that i have 6 objects in inventory. I do not have any soldier hats, just the banner and equalizer.
In short, i can’t fucking use (and it doesnt appear in my inventory or class weapon selection) the direct hit or my targe/sword either. I know atleast 10 people in the same case and all the TF2 updates there was this night didn’t fix it.
Question : any way to get it back exept from a random drop ?
PS : sorry if this kind of thread already exist.

you can use the steam achievement unlocker to remove the milestone achievements and get them back again with 2 button clicks but i dont think valve likes that
I had the same problem. I used Steam Achievement Manager and relocked the milestones, then I played a bit and they unlock themselves automatically and gave me my items.
I heard that by mailing Robin he can fix it for ya.
What I don’t understand is why they don’t fix this automatically as almost everyone I know has at least one unlock missing. Last night with the unlock servers down for 90% of the time this should be a high priority. I wonder how the free weekenders feel when the game sucks this bad.

I don’t care if Valve like it or not. I’m not gonna wait for ages until i get an eventual response from robin.

I used the unlocker to redo my milestones and it gave me my Direct Hit, i am now a happynef.

just untick the milestones and then press the store button top right in the achievement manager (store achievements and statistics for active game)
Haha I accidentally deleted my equalizer because I started getting it every time I died, then I just put delete on one and it disappeared completely so nice :p
I did this and it worked, just went on a server after it, killed someone, killed myself after it said i got milestone and i got the DH :>>> THANK YOU!!!
Works for me as well.Just untick all of the soldier/demoman milestones,click store and go to a instant achievement server like the modme one,type !milestones,type “kill” in console and you’ll get all of your missing weapons.

ty, works. Unlocked all soldier and demo unlocks after not recieving them because of the fucked up system
