Hey!
whenever i play tf2 in windowed mode and do a fast mouse movement combined with a click it seems to leave the tf2 window and i end up moving the mouse on the desktop instead of in tf2. anyway to fix this ? :)
yes. Download something called “Ultramon”. Its a program built for dual screen setups. It has an option that allows you to bind a key(combo) to “Lock mouse to window” which fixes the mouse to the window you’re in at that moment. I use it for the same reasons and it works perfectly when I don’t forget to turn it on :D

thanks a lot works like a charm! :)
The other option is to go into the Steam games list, right click on TF2 and select properties. In the launch options box, enter “-noborder” without the quotes, click ok and then run the game.
This will mean the game now in full screen windowed mode (just like you can do in L4D and L4D2) and you’ll find no problems with the mouse in that mode.
I know you’ve got Ultramon now but next time you reformat, I thought you might save some time not having to download another program just to fix this!

Only works if your game & desktop resolutions are the same.
Indeed!
