Simple fun.
1. Calculate your overall hours of TF2 played.
2. Times that number by £5.80, the UK minimum wage – eg, 600 x 5.80
3. Feel depressed
Mine: £5,660.80
Playing computer games instead of working at the minimum wage: £5000+
Having fun instead of working at the minimum wage: Priceless.
They need to do a new advert :D
892 * 5.80 = £5172.60
But I agree with jgmaster tbh. The same goes for any hobby/sport, whether it be football, tennis, gaming, carpentry, DIY….
I wonder how much iller would have earned :o
£13,037.82
And as I said at the beginning, this is just for fun. I’m not saying we should all quit TF2 and get jobs, it’s just interesting to see how much our playtime is worth.
Getting paid the minimum wage…..
The trick, ladies and gentlemen is to get paid enough so that you can work only enough to allow you to play video games (or any other enjoyable pastime) and still have a decent standard of living.
