pickup1 IRC channel - not working?

15 minutes later – still nothing
WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME.

Just discovered my stupid laptop wont connect to any channel. Is there any particular reason why? I’m using IceChat and yes – my internet it turned on.
Connect to a new server, i cant connect to some US servers for some reason so i need to connect to “Random UK server” as its called on my IRC…

You don’t have to be authed
Due to spam bots, I have had to (perhaps temporarily) put a flag on the channel such that only authed users can join the channel. Most IRC clients dont support this, which means you will have to join the channel manually (after you’ve authed).
So type: /join #mpuktf2.pickup
Can’t you just add your auth command to top of perform list so it auths before joining chans? Seemed to always work for me in mIRC and NNscript
Either put it in perform for mIRC or just use the built-in option if you’re on NNS.
Hmm, i dont really like mIRC.. its confusing? :x

Join a different channel, then auth, then try join pickup or something?
