I got no idea how u can get so high fps, ive never had anything u post on ur cfg page, and this is what my benchmark looks like:

C2D 6400 @ 2.8Ghz
4GB RAM
8800GT 512MB

VISTA 64bit, 4xAA, 1280×960 EDITED M0RE CFG DX9
8686 frames 74.329 seconds 116.86 fps ( 8.56 ms/f) 13.245 fps variability

M0RE HIGHFPS DX8
8686 frames 76.718 seconds 113.22 fps ( 8.83 ms/f) 23.365 fps variability

XP 32bit, 1280×960, EDITED M0RE CFG DX9
8686 frames 70.722 seconds 122.82 fps ( 8.14 ms/f) 15.469 fps variability

M0re HIGHFPS DX8
8686 frames 62.910 seconds 138.07 fps ( 7.24 ms/f) 21.028 fps variability

edit: somehow many ppl are asking for my edited more cfg, basicly this is my autoexec: http://pastebin.com/ff0f1955

Lol L-inC, why would you get such a killer cpu and pair it would such an outdated graphics card?

With m0re’s highfps its pretty much about the clockspeed of your cpu, and Depch has a barely slower cpu. The clean re-install also has it’s own magic. When I benchmarked with m0re’s highfps my gpu usage was from 1 to 2 percent. :)

Yeah, also xtala has a better cpu & gpu than me (and +14fps for this crappier rig) so I guess it’s about the clean install I just did 12 hours ago as Rake mentioned also. :> But don’t see much difference to my vista64 here either, didn’t timedemo it but ingame the fps look pretty much the same.

I tried it out with m0re’s highfps config, dxlevel 81 *1366×768:

9778 frames 129.713 seconds 75.38 fps (13.27 ms/f) 8.012 fps variability

athlon x2 5600+ (2,9 ghz)
radeon hd 3850 512mb
4gb 800mhz ddr2

I’ve got a fresh install of w7 ultimate 64bit and a new hard drive too. I dunno what’s the problem, I think I should have higher fps with this hardware but maybe it’s the cpu though that low fps still doesn’t sound right to me.

EDIT: I got a phenom II x4 945 (3,0ghz) and now i get the following:

9778 frames 51.353 seconds 190.41 fps ( 5.25 ms/f) 25.442 fps variability

So a pretty nice boost with a new cpu:)

its the cpu + w7… xp will have like 20% perf increase
