Known bug, occurs in dxlevel 8.

Yes, now do the following:

1: disable dxlevel8
2: add “fps_max 60” to your config
3: Stop thinking theres any point in getting over 9000 fps, your monitor can only display 60fps anyway.

the point is not to get more fps but more stable fps simple as.

I have a 120Hz monitor. With an FPS config my midfights are improved from around 50 FPS to 130. Don’t assume everyone is a moron when it comes to tweaking. If I could play on max settings with a decent FPS in matches I would.

-dxlevel 81 is the problem.

Bamm.

The step how to fix it didnt work for me :(

Not true. It depends on the refresh rate of the monitor which can change with the resolution (eg my monitor can only refresh at 60Hz (= display 60fps) at 1680×1050 but at 1280×800 I can choose between 60,70,72 and 75 Hz (60, 70, 72 and 75fps respectively). CRT’s can even get up to 120Hz (=120fps).

Also, not everyone who uses a fps-config gets stable 60/75/120 fps with dx9 and makes his game ugly to lengthen his e-penis.

I know it depends on the refresh rate of the monitor, but most people have 60hz LCD’s, the few people who will have monitors that can do better than that already know about this. Bottom line is that running -dxlevel 8 to get 200fps is a complete waste of time.
