since when does orangebox-engine support anything but dxlevel95 (directx9.0c)?
TF2 doesnt support dx10…

on a side note… if you’re using windows 7, with the latest nvidia drivers you’re lucky that your OS works at all, lots of people complain about constant BSOD, I for one, can’t even start windows with the latest drivers for windows 7…

nvidia driver for win7 are still in beta
O srry for the noobness guys… thought it had dx10 included.. something exfane told me about but nice to know now there is none.
Btw.. the beta drivers from nvidia are WHQL now, http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7_winvista_64bit_190.62_whql.html.

I had this the first time installing windows 7.. after installing i got constant BSOD also but i was thinking fuck it and reinstalled…..now everything works.

I’ve had w7 with latest nvidia drivers for few days now, and I never suffered BSOD.

Been running win7 rc1 and now enterprise since both of them were released. _NEVER_ had a single bsod (intel/ati), tf2 runs like a dream. Infact, everything runs just great EXCEPT for KOTOR2.
I just lost 2h45m since the last auto-save, since the quicksave got fucked on saving — so warning for that one in w7, since it makes you quote old movies.
