need help with windosmode

in vista32bit when i use windows mode in the loading screen my screen becomes white and i get an announcment that it needs to close the game and after few seconds the game crashes ,any idia how can i fix it?
Occurs to me aswell when I tab out of game while starting the game or loading a map. Just close the window that pop-ups (that tells you game is not responding) and wait for it to finish loading and everything will go back to normal.
Do you use -noborder in the launch options? It’s worth a shot . . .
yes, this what i have in my lunch options
-w 1280 -h 1024 -sw -noborder -novid
-sandvich
Hit enter or space bar as soon as the the game launches, this will make it skip past that and it won’t crash, I had the same problem with pretty every Orangebox game except TF2 until I found this trick when I used to use vista.
ye its when tf2 is loading a game or you enter task manager via ctrl+alt+del. wait for it til the end process icon appears. il be switching to windows 7 which wont have this issue hopefully!
