tbh… look how sexy that soldier hat is… cant wait to get it in what….. like 5 years…. sigh
“Also, if you haven’t seen them yet, ubercharged.net is currently up to part three in a nine-part series covering how each TF2 class is used in competitive matches. It’s a fantastic read if you want to get some insight into the strategies of TF2’s most skilled players. ”
Valve seem to be making a real effort to the competive side these days, ive had internet problems for the last week or so so if someone could update me with anything ive missed (if i have missed anything ^^) i would be thankful :)
nice with hats, but why all these Arena maps. stupid stupid, stupid!
eoN, if you know about the TF2 Beta with div1 players then you haven’t missed anything.
Also, I agree. Its great! :D
I think they’ve bassically realised that listening to raging, stupid public players has now half-way ruined the game, so their now listening to Competitive players as they seem to have a much better idea.
But then again thats what kills games, listening to competitive players… Hopefully they can find a balance.

how strange… some Irish counties mentioned in it…. :s
I hope theres more to this update than just hats..
Took me ages to get my one and only soldier hat and now I want to swap it for the viking one :(
But then again thats what kills games, listening to competitive players… Hopefully they can find a balance.
Have you thought that the game dying could be the cause and not the effect? Game developers start listening to the competitive players when they run out of casual players. I’d like to think that Valve is just ahead of the curve, investing to the future of competitive TF2 that will live long.
