I’d play pickups more if people just called stuff there, but since kaidus hangs around in there it is doomed! Give kaidus a permanent medic spot and it’ll go just fine, he’s a pro medic and can lead any squad to defeat!

On a serious note: Raise the demands for communication on there (hard to check but still) and let the summer pass.

Well, As a medic (given a low medic, but still, playing med at low is harder anyway :) ) could I give my 2 cents here? Yes, thank you.

Playing medic in pickups is horrible. Simply because you have too many people doing what they THINK they are supposed to do. In pickup2, it still applys, say for example you have a div 1 demo and a div 3 solly on your team on badlands. As im sure most of you would expect my natural thing to do is heal the demo so he can jump before we are able to move, then heal the sollys when he gets out of range. Well, today, this particular Demo is feeling lazy so can’t be bothered doing the jump so ive just wasted time. On the other hand, this Div 3 solly has neat little tactic that his team does of him jumping instead, so he does that. So lets say that solly ends up going onto mid without being fully healed and gets killed. Im now being bashed for it being my fault.

Infact, it was no ones fault. We all did what we would naturally do in a PCW or Match, just I as the med am being shouted at for it. This constant bashing of medics is the reason why:
1) Nobody wants to play medic in pickups
2) Nobody wants to play medic in mixes
3) Nobody wants to play medic in general

Personally I am fine with iExpo and stick to PCW’s with iExpo or mixes with mostly iExpo players.

But really, If you want us medics to play for you, don’t fucking shout at us for not healing you when there was absolutely no way we could have done so anyway. Contray to popular belief:

1) The medi gun does not go through walls
2) The medi gun does not go round corners (i know it seems to but it really dosen’t)
3) I cannot heal 4 people at the same time. If you need an overheal to sticky jumpy and the solly has < 100 HP, my priority 90% of the time is the solly.
4) We have the needle gun/blutsauger for a reason, if we need to use it as self defence then we will; so please don't bitch at us for if we need to.
