Might also have something to do with the pathetic amount of lame shits not getting banned when they needed to 12 months ago. Having some random russians raging at you for “not helink themzki” is not many people cups of tea. Ever since since General Idiot (joske) played there, the bar seems to have been raised to an unacceptable limit of abuse.
It’s just not a fun and nice place to play on as of now.
I’m guessing the most players in div1 can’t believe that a lot of lower division (div2/3) players could compete with them (at least in the personal class skill)
I’m sure that the lowerdiv players together in their lowerdiv teams can’t compete with the div1 teams
I’ve played in the invites since I was in div4 so there goes your theory.
Also I usually prefer mpuk2 to invite, mainly because it’s more relaxed and alot less demanding i.e. you can go off class and have fun.

Was there a particular word you found hard or just the whole argument itself? Either way, I’d be happy to try and explain it further.

you shouldnt be so quick to judge as you havent played much in mpuk2, i for one play there a lot.
ppl are nice, except for kaidus and there are close to no russians playing there (as if it matterd).
Mmm I don’t recall seeing many russians. A few too israelis for my liking (kidding), but they’re like a thousand times less annoying!
Only people I don’t like there is bm. Ban him and the channel will live again.

yeah i didnt see many russians there recently but i dont have a problem with them as long as they keep it english, stop the whining, and the real problem of the channel is noone goes medic

Anyway! Pickup2 is generally pleasant and I don’t think this needs to become another “joskeisatwatlolololol” thread.
Nothing is going to be perfect, just let summer pass and I expect activity will pick back up.
agree the problem is “finding two medics”
f2 could (if possible) introduce something like
you can only add 8 times in a row as “non-medic”
then the old every 7 day-rule should be cancelled
Btw people stop inviting people with no experience…like today our medic had 96% uber on our last point (only him and the scout were alive) and our scout leaves the medic alone.
And also invite people who can atleast say a word in english.
I played once in a pickup, I went medic because no one else wanted to, we won. It was the worst experience I have ever had playing TF2 and I have played in insta respawn 2fort servers (at least the people on these servers knew what they were supposed to do, for example spam continually). So I stopped playing pickups, I’ll keep to the pcw’s, thanks :3
People play pickup1 in the morning because they dont want to actually try and they want a free, quick e-peen boost…
Its a good warmup carrying a team :X
I COMPLETELY agree with kaidus, more people should report with the !admin bad comms and maybe the pickup2 channel will return to its original glory…
Also i think at the current rate a skill level ceiling needs added, a LOW skill level ceiling but still there are to many people who add up and ruin it by playing medic when they have NO idea what to do or by playing a class they suck at, save that for pickup1… By that i dont mean never med up if your not div3+, i just mean dont med up if you dont know when to push etc… it just ruins it for a team when they are pushing choke and the medics still on balcony going “I DONT HAVE UBER” when half the enemy team is down :XXX

The problem is that I have been playing for a few months now competitively, I have been told that SpA are probably mid/mid+ now. So I know what the medic should do, but I actually just suck at it, so it would probably be a bad idea for me to ever go medic :) But then I feel guilty because I would be stealing the popular classes all the time.

If you can play soldier or demo at a mid level, lets put it this way, if you can play medic after playing at a mid level your pretty screwed trying to defend your med…
Tbh ive noticed the more i play all classes the better i get at teamwork due to knowing where my team will go in certain situations before they call it, fair nuff you can also get that just from playing in a team but its nice to understand why your med stands somewhere etc.
