Dxlevel 80 +steamid

Hey guys, first post here, be gentle!
im trying to get the game to run in dx80 cause my pc isint very good
but when i set it as a launch option
it just preparing to launch
dissapars (sp)
and then nothing happens
and i tried to upload my steam id it was in the right format but it said it wasent :o?

Just remove STEAMID_ part from it. Dno about the dxlevel thing.
With the dx level did you use -dxlevel 80 , if that didnt work try -dxlevel 82 and -dxlevel 81
or maybe you lowered too much in windows troubleshooting thingie. you know the usual “properties-> settings -> advanved -> troubleshooting”
Just launch the game and type mat_dxlevel 80 or 81 in the console (82 doesn’t exist). If it works I guess you can add it to your autoexec.cfg.

82 does… it works a launch option at least…
