We’ve got a map where we’re trying out areas that modify themselves based on the number of players in the game, in the hopes that both public & competitive players can use it.

Yeah how irritating would that be if your playing 6v6 and one or two guys chrashes. “Change of tactics guys!”

When they did this the first time, it was the “real” well-map, and it opened/closed sewers and entrance to upper areas depending on 1-8, 9-16 or 17+ players. no need to worry, as usual you can likely control everything with cvars.
