nah. frog just offers the blood of 17 freshly slain virgins up as a sacrifice to the wrathful thundergod on a sunday night, puts the kettle on, has a cuppa, and by monday morning BAM. pimp my motd dawg.
You can get the MOTD to display stuff from a site. Then you just have it display a page on your site that has a game tracker on it or hlstats webpage etc.
sorry to dig this up, but it has only just come to my attention.
The messageboards do not use MOTD. They are actually embedded in the game on the walls of the spawn rooms.
A script pulls some data (top10 players, birthdays, events, donators, etc) from our databases and then uses a png library to generate text on top of a template messageboard png image, the png is then converted to a timestamped vtf/vmt file and uploaded to the servers. A map decal sourcemod plugin then positions the images on the walls.
An example can be seen here http://www.hampshireheavies.co.uk/news.php#mb
