EDIT: I ‘kinda’ figured it out for ATI cards (i have a 4850)
1) download ati tools

2) run it and go to settings

3) set LOD to 10 in additional

I added a tutorial as m0re suggested to my blog. I also copied apy’s tutorial onto there for ATI cards.

Yes, it will break other games, and yes, you can turn it off in 2 seconds.
