I love the default xhair but i have a problem: it’s not as visible as a green or blue one.
Then i saw this video: http://www.pldx.com/movie/683/Nislem-Fragmovie/ (just one i pick)
I noticed his def xhair his more visible than mine which is lighter. So, my question is, how can i set gfx settings, xhair settings, monitor settings, whatever, to make the def xhair more visible, more defined on the background. With hdr enabled, i use high settings, tf2 is great but the def white xhair is less visible in lighter areas. Disabling it, tf2 gfx sucks. Is there a way to continue using high gfx settings and make the xhair more visible?
Thx in advance
Put these lines in your autoexec.cfg
Select a crosshair file, e.g.
cl_crosshair_file crosshair3
crosshair1-7 works afaik
Then select the colours, in the example it’s green:
cl_crosshair_red 0
cl_crosshair_green 255
cl_crosshair_blue 0
Then adjust the size:
cl_crosshair_scale 16
Change the values how you like it best.
Good point, it sure is clear. I just wonder if it’s post processed in some colour filter on the video though…
