Change all the options in your autoexec.cfg.
The POV demo has changed options in your config, so by cleaning that up and adding your sensitivity and crosshair colour/size etc into your autoexec, it will be fine.
re-write those parts of your cfg file and then make it read-only, the only way afaik :) (also prevents it from happening again … obv)
