For the last year Ive been living at home again and alot of evenings I suffer from packet loss between 10-40. My net graph jerks alot and voices on mumble are completly stuttery.

However recently I installed CSS and noticed even when TF2 and mumble are lagging a treat (20-30 Loss) I only get 1-3 loss on CSS. Its seems very strange to me.

My cousin is on the same isp and rig as me and gets the same problem (he live down the road)

Any thoughts on what this could be? :S

If you are both on the same ISP, are you both using a crappy router provided to you by the ISP themselves?

If you are – that’s your problem.
