Tbh i think hit sounds are good but the main thing i think Valve need to fix is to remove the overheal signs because atm they are useless ive seen scouts on 10 hp that have them… just another badly implemented feature tbh :X

I would say hitsounds for all or noone though, couse it gives a little advantage, especcialy becouse these sounds get deeper the more dmg u do, so youll know if the other scout/medic/whatever is really low or not, and youll know if you hit with a spamrocket that you just shoot around a corner.

They disappear after a while, but it’s really annoying because it takes several seconds to do so.

Yeah on games like warsow and quake it fits with the graphics etc, thats what im unsure about, would TF2 sound stupid and irritating with beeping? Or would it add something to the game. I think if it was a feature it would have to be added as an option like bobbing is on quake and warsow etc.
