Mouse acceleration

I just turned all mouse accell off. Notice my aim at mid/long range greatly benefits from it as soldier. At close range its harder to flickshot, but Im certain that will change over time. Didn’t try demo without mouse accel yet, but I think my pipe aim will benefit at midrange, flicks vs scouts might take some practice.

Same with me as solly.

Battling scouts at close range is a nightmare, it’s been 4 days or so but hopefully it improves in the next few days. God damn I hope so.

Doing fine as solly now. Much easier to score direct hits now.

Apparently with vista you need a 3rd party program/registry fix to completely turn off mouse accel. Anyone got more info on this or a link to the DL? If i’ve got mouse accel turned off in the razer control panel will that have it sorted?

I turned the acc off some time ago, mostly because I wanted to have more accurate control over my mouse. This resulted in me changing the sens a bit higher after some period of time due to certain strafing problems when s/j or surfing ( :D ).

My pipe aim didn’t really improve back then, but it became a lot easier to target enemies as sniper/scout. It’s all personal preference though.
